All in the club would like to extend our deepest condolences to the extended Bonfield family on the sudden & sad passing of the recently deceased Martin Bonfield of Tullow, Newport. Martin was a former ladies team manager and loyal supporter of the club over the years. His family played with the club at all age levels and have always had and still have a great association with Newport Town AFC. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Martin's funeral arrangements are;
Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Friday, 7th February, from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 8th February, at 11.30 a.m. Burial afterwards in Rockvale Cemetery, Newport.
