Covid-19
With the Covid-19 Level 5 restrictions still in place, all leagues are suspended but training continues in an outdoor environment for our underage sides. These are strange and challenging times for everyone but for now our younger players can continue outdoor training, keeping fit and healthy. We remind everyone of the importance of following all the health guidelines before, during and after training.

Lotto
There was no winner of this week’s club’s lotto and the jackpot is now €2,150 with the next draw taking place on Saturday, November 21 in the clubhouse. The numbers drawn were 12, 15, 28 & 30. Three x €20 lucky dip winners including one online 2020 draw winner and one 2020 draw ticket. Martina Daly (2020 draw ticket online), Ciara Gleeson, Clare Glens and Kev Connolly, Birdhill (2020 draw ticket). Tickets can be purchased from any committee member at our lotto stand at Ryan’s Centra on Friday evenings & Sunday mornings. They can also be bought online via the club website. Thanks, as always, to everyone who supports the club’s main fund raiser.

Clothes Collection
Are you clearing out wardrobes or de-cluttering? We can help. Our ‘Clothes Collection’ fundraiser continues so drop your bags of clothes, shoes, handbags, blankets & bed linen (NO duvets) to the clubhouse, Mon-Fri, 6-9pm or all day Saturday. Just leave them in closed bags under the clubhouse canopy and we will recycle them for you. You get to clear out some of your stuff and the club makes a few euros. If you have any questions or need bags collected, please contact Tim Coffey on 086 3935244. Spread the word.

Help us keep Derryleigh Park clean
With every player now bringing their own water bottles to training, we ask that you please bring your plastic bottles home with you or else put them in the bins in Derryleigh Park. Parents, please pass this message on to your kids. Thanks for your co-operation.

Bryan Ringrose R.I.P.
All in the club were greatly saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Bryan Ringrose at such a young age. Bryan was a popular club member, a former junior player and also helped out with coaching some of our underage sides. He also played the social games on the astro on Mon & Wed nights. His son Jack is a schoolboy player with the club. We would like to extend our condolences to his wife Linda, children Emma & Jack and to all his family and friends at this very sad time.
