Season’s Greetings
We would like to wish everyone in Newport and surrounding areas, especially our players, coaches, supporters, sponsors and their families a very peaceful Christmas and a happy & healthy New Year. Thank you to all our club sponsors and local businesses for their support throughout the year and to everyone who supported the club’s various fundraising efforts during 2020. Without people’s generosity and goodwill towards the soccer club, especially in this strange & difficult year, it would not be possible to progress the club forward. At this time of the year, we also remember those who have gone before us to their eternal rest. We now all look forward with hope to a much better 2021 for everyone, when hopefully normality will return. In the meantime, please keep safe and look after one another.

Club’s Euromillion Syndicate commences on January 5 2021
We're delighted to announce that our €20 for 2020 Euromillions Syndicate will commence when we enter the Euromillions draw for the first time on Tuesday, January 5 2021. Entry is just €20 but time is now running out to enter and to become a part of our syndicate. You can securely enter online on the club’s website.

We're calling on our all our supporters, players, their families far & wide and our local community to help the club financially by entering our €20 for 2020 Club Fundraiser. You can also purchase a ticket from any committee member, manager or player. This would be a great stocking filler.

It’s great value, as just one €20 ticket gains you multiple entries into different draws including;

*Membership of the NTAFC Euro Millions Lotto Syndicate for 12 months (104 draws).
*Entry to the Club Lotto for 2 months (8 weekly draws).

We will be purchasing 4 lines of numbers for every Euro Millions draw and these will then be the same numbers for every draw. We will announce the lucky numbers in advance of the first draw. If every player, coach, supporter or family in the club could buy just one ticket, it would be a massive help. Please help us spread this message far & wide to friends, family & neighbours. Christmas Raffle
Lines are still on sale for the club’s popular Christmas Raffle, which will take place on Tuesday, December 22. Entry is €2 a line or €5 for 3 lines. All players in the club have been provided with a raffle card with lines to sell. Raffle cards are still available in shops and local businesses in the town or from any committee member. There are lots of great prizes to be won including 3 large luxury Christmas hampers (filled with goodies & vouchers), 1 €100 fuel voucher, 3 meat vouchers, €50 voucher for Arrabawn Co-Op, mini hampers, bags of turf / timber and lots more. Your support is greatly appreciated. Monies raised will go towards the urgent refurbishment of the astro-turf floodlights.

We would traditionally hold the raffle in O’Sullivan’s Bar but unfortunately this can’t happen this year. The draw will instead take place in our clubhouse in Derryleigh Park but we look forward to returning to our spiritual home next Christmas. Thanks in advance for your support. PLease ensure that all cards & money are returned before the draw on Tuesday evening. They can be dropped into Kennedy's Discount Store, Ryan's Centra or given to any committee member or the clubhouse on Tuesday evening between 7.30-8pm.

Club Lotto
There was NO winner of this week's lotto. Jackpot is now €2,400. Numbers drawn on Saturday, December 19 were 6,11,22,26. There were three €20 lucky dip winners including one ticket purchased online, Mattie Lenihan, Cork Rd. (Online), Geraldine O’Neill, Marian Estate & Monica McDonnell, Cork Road. Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket. You can enter the club lotto online on the club website or buy a ticket at our stand in Ryan's Centra Newport on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings or from any committee member.
