All in the club would like to wish our good friend James Scott all the very best as he moves on from his role of North Tipp Development Officer in the FAIreland after almost 13 years, to take on another role in the FAI.
Scotty was a very popular Development Officer, one of the best in the business, and was always a welcome visitor to Derryleigh Park. He was well known to many of our younger players as he was a regular visitor to our summer camps and Soccer Sisters camp as well as a regular attendee at our awards nights. James was also a massive influence on the growth of schoolgirl football in our club. He was also a great help to us as we progressed our facilities and the development of our coaches in Derryleigh Park. Scotty will be missed but no doubt will be a success in his new role. He will be a hard act to follow but we look forward to welcoming his replacement to Derryleigh.
James sent a message to the club today, which we’d like to share with our members and followers.
“After almost 13 years I have finished my role as FAI Development Officer in North Tipperary to take another role in the FAI.
I just wanted to send ye all a quick email to thank you for all your help throughout the years, it was a pleasure! Please pass on my thanks to your club members.
It has been a highlight of my time to see the great progress in your club, I can remember meeting a lot of the club members in a room in O’Sullivan’s Pub, I think back in 2008 and hearing all the plans for the club.
Well, ye can all be very proud to see what it has become! A massive success story!
The club has always been very good to me providing facilities for courses, games, ETP, schools events and camps. It was very much appreciated.
Continued success to the club…onwards and upwards!!!”
Best of luck Scotty. Don't be a stranger. 📷📷
